About

on-manage was a small web console for handling routine AWS chores in one place, with cutting costs in mind. You registered AWS accounts under an organization, defined tasks such as starting and stopping the EC2 instances that match a tag in a chosen region, and grouped them into jobs. Google Calendar was connected as the way to plan when those jobs should run.

I built it with Next.js and Supabase over about three weeks in early 2024. The screens for organizations, AWS accounts, tasks and jobs worked, along with Google sign-in and calendar linking. The part that would actually start and stop instances on AWS was never written, and it was never deployed.
