mutuals

mutuals is an iOS app for two people who still follow each other, were once close, and have not seen each other in years. The name is a working name.

Each person gives their own agent their schedule and location. The agents look for an overlap, the same city and a free evening, and propose a meetup to both people at the same time. Neither side sees the other’s schedule or location, and declining is invisible to the other side. The agent speaks as itself, never as you. Success is meeting, not messaging.

So far it has sign-in, onboarding (schools, companies, places), calendar busy-block sync, availability windows, matching proposals, replies with alternative times, and push notifications. It is built with Expo, React Native and Supabase. The core idea is still unvalidated. The waitlist page is live.
