MealDeal

MealDeal was a mobile app for budget-conscious households in the US: plan the week’s meals around what is on sale at nearby grocery stores, with the budget and the household in mind. It had recipe swiping, meal plans, a shopping list, a budget view and onboarding, plus a voice assistant built on Claude with tool use and ElevenLabs speech.

I built it with Expo and Supabase over about two weeks in January 2026. It ran on seeded demo prices from three stores in Austin, Texas, and was never connected to real sale data. It stopped there.
