About
GarageLess was a web marketplace for mobile mechanics in the US: a car owner books a mechanic who comes to them. Owners could browse mechanics, open a mechanic’s page and book in steps: service, vehicle, date and time, and a location on a map. Mechanics had a dashboard for their profile, availability, bookings and earnings.
I built it with Next.js and Supabase from March to early April 2026. Payments ran through Stripe Connect as a deposit plus a final charge, with a travel fee calculated from distance and state fuel prices. It stopped before launch.
